Gaia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gaia can mean:
- Gaia (mythology): the earth and mother of the gods in Greek mythology
- Gaia (ecology): the idea that living things and the Earth are closely connected, and form a complex self-regulating system, making sure there can be life on the planet. The man that had this idea was James Lovelock, with his Gaia hypothesis.
