Georges Pompidou

Georges Jean Raymond Pompidou (July 5, 1911 - April 2, 1974) was a French politician. He was the President of the French Republic from 20 June 1969 until 2 April 1974. He was born in Cantal.
He also was Prime Minister of France from 14 April 1962 until 10 July 1968. In 1968, he was elected president. So far, he is the only French president of the French Fifth Republic to die in office.
