Herbal medicine

Herbal medicine is the study of medicines made from plants. Herbal medicine sometimes includes mineral, fungi, and some animal parts.[1]

Humans have used medicinal plants since the Paleolithic age.[2] The first recipes for herbal medicines were written 5,000 years ago by the Sumeria.[3]
