Hinotori (satellite)

Hinotori (ひのとり) is the name of the a Japanese artificial satellite which was put into orbit.
The launch was a project of the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of the University of Tokyo.
The satellite was sent into orbit on February 21, 1981.[1]
