John Purvis

John Robert Purvis, CBE (6 July 1938 – 20 March 2022)[1] was a British Conservative politician. He was a MEP for Mid Scotland and Fife from 1979 until 1984 and from 1999 to 2009.[2] He was one of Scotland's seven MEPs.[1] Purvis was born in St Andrews, Scotland.

Purvis died on 20 March 2022 from cancer in Edinburgh, Scotland at the age of 83.[3]
