June Christy (November 20, 1925 - June 21, 1990) in Springfield, Illinois, was an American singer. She first began her singing career under the Stan Kenton Orchestra. Her solo career began from 1954 and after; the singer was active until 1988. She died in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California from renal failure. After her death she was hailed as one of the finest and most neglected singers of her time.
