Koichi Miyazaki

Koichi Miyazaki (宮崎こういち, Miyazaki Koichi, October 20, 1942; Setagaya, Tokyo - September 30, 2014 [age 71], Akishima, Tokyo) is a Japanese musician and side guitarist for The Jaguars, Japan's most popular Group Sound band during the 1960s. His birth name was Koichiro Miyazaki (̠宮崎紘一郎, Miyazaki Kōichirō).

Miyazaki participated in the"The Jaguars" reunion event in 1981. In 2009, due to the death of Shin Okamoto, he stopped working for the band. Currently, he runs the izakaya "Tsuta" in Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. Miyazaki died stomach cancer in Akishima. He was 71 years old.
