Leighton Baines (born 11 December 1984) is an English footballer who plays for Everton and the England national football team.
He started his career with Wigan Athletic. He is a defender who plays on the left side but has not played many games because of injuries. He wears the number 3 on his Everton shirt. He has played for England at under-21 and senior levels. He has scored only one goal while playing for England and scored four times while at Wigan. He is yet to score for Everton.
