Malcolm Innes of Edingight

Sir Malcolm Rognvald Innes of Edingight KCVO WS FSA Scot (25 May 1938 – 20 September 2020) was a Scottish civil servant. He was the Lord Lyon King of Arms of Scotland from 1981 until 2001. He was born in Edinburgh.[1]

He was appointed a Writer to the Signet in 1964. Following his retirement in 2001, he was appointed Orkney Herald of Arms Extraordinary. He was a co-founder of the Heraldry Society of Scotland.

He died on 20 September 2020 at the age of 82 from cancer.[2][3]
