Marie Newman (born April 13, 1964) is an American businesswoman and politician. Newman is a member of the Democratic Party. She was a member of the United States House of Representatives from Illinois's 3rd congressional district from 2021 to 2023.

Newman became the Democratic nominee for Illinois's 3rd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives, following her victory against incumbent Dan Lipinski in the 2020 primary election in March.[1] She had lost against Lipinski for the same seat in 2018.[2]

In June 2022, Newman lost re-nomination to U.S. Representative Sean Casten.
