Miranda Taylor Cosgrove (born 14 May 1993) is an American actress and singer. She was born in Los Angeles, California. She first started her career in 1998 in various commercials. She is best known for her roles as Megan Parker in Drake and Josh, Summer Hathaway in School of Rock and as Carly Shay in Nickelodeon's iCarly. She has also guest-starred in shows like Zoey101. She also had her debut soundtrack album called Sparks Fly in April 2010 and High Maintenance in March 2011.
