Stephanie Natalie Marie Cole, better known as simply Natalie Cole, was born February 6, 1950. She is the daughter of Nat King Cole and an American singer-songwriter. She rode to music success during mid to late 1970s as an R&B musician. After a period of substandard musical sales due to heavy drug addiction, she reemerged as a pop artist in 1987, and during the 1990s Cole won multiple Grammy Awards. She has also appeared in numerous TV programs.
