Niklas Oskar Bäckström (born February 13, 1978 in Helsinki, Finland) is an NHL ice hockey goaltender for the Minnesota Wild. He also played in the SM-liiga for HIFK, SaiPa and Kärpät and also played in the Elitserien for AIK. He won the William M. Jennings Trophy in 2007 along with Manny Fernandez.
