Russell Tyrone Jones (November 15, 1968November 13, 2004) was an American rapper and producer who was better known by his stage name, Ol' Dirty Bastard. He was an African-American. He is probably best known for being one of the founding members of the rap group, Wu-Tang Clan. He also had a solo career and released 2 studio albums during that time.

ODB had 13 children. He was a habitual criminal and drug addict whose convictions included attempted assault and cocaine possession.[1] He was shot by robbers in 1998.[1]

He died on November 13, 2004 due to an accidental drug overdose of a mixture of cocaine and prescription drug Tramadol.
