Paige Gebhardt Cognetti is an American Democratic politician. She is the 36th Mayor of Scranton, Pennsylvania since 2020. She is the first woman to be mayor of the city and won her seat in a special election.[1][2] Before becoming mayor, she worked as an advisor for the United States Department of the Treasury during the Barack Obama presidency.[3][4]
