Pipe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A pipe can be several things:
- It could be a pole (made of metal or of another material) that is hollow in the middle. This kind of pipe is used for moving water or other things from one place to another. In pipe organs the sound is made by air travelling through metal or wooden pipes.
- A pipe could also be a small object for smoking tobacco or other things. This sort of pipe has the same sort of hollow pole at one end, but it is much smaller and usually made of clay or wood. It also has a small bowl attached to the other end for burning tobacco in.
