Psychological abuse

Psychological abuse (alternate names: emotional abuse and mental abuse) is a method of abuse consisting of one person subjecting another to behaviors that may result in anxiety, depression and health conditions of other types. Such abuses are often associated with arrogance or imbalance of power, such as relationship abuse, bullying or work-related abuses. Verbal abuse and gaslighting are often involved.
