Richard Andrew Palethorpe-Todd OBE (11 June 1919 – 3 December 2009) was an Irish-British actor. He won a Golden Globe Award and had an Academy Award for Best Actor nomination for his role as Corporal Lachlan MacLachlan in the 1949 movie The Hasty Heart.[2]
