Robert L. Woodson Sr. (born April 8, 1937) is an American civil rights activist, community development leader, author, and founder and president of the Woodson Center. He is known for his works to help low-income communities through housing.[1]

In February 2020, Woodson launched the Center's 1776 Unites campaign.
