Roberto Rivas Reyes

Roberto José Rivas Reyes (6 July 1954 – 5 March 2022) was a Nicaraguan politician and lawyer. He was President of the Supreme Electoral Council (CSE).[1] Rivas became a CSE magistrate in 1995 and five years later became its president.[2] He resigned in 2018. He was born in Managua, Nicaragua.

Rivas Reyes died on 5 March 2022 at a hospital in Managua, at the age of 67 from sepsis caused by COVID-19.[3]
