Romani people in Moldova

Romani Gypsies represent one of the most vulnerable minority groups in Moldova. Though the estimated Romani (Gypsy) population according to the 2014 census was around 9,000 (0.3 per cent of the population), Romani (Gypsy) leaders believe that the actual figure is around 250,000.[1]
