"Running Kind" is a 1978 song by Merle Haggard featuring The Strangers and is the second and final single from his 26th studio album A Working Man Can't Get Nowhere Today. It went to number 12 on the Billboard Hot Country Single charts and number 10 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks charts. It was covered by Radney Foster for the 1994 album Mama's Hungry Eyes: A Tribute to Merle Haggard.
