Segun Ogunsanya is the managing director and chief executive officer of Airtel Nigeria, subsidiary of Indian telecommunications conglomerate, with subsidiaries in 14 Sub-Saharan African countries.[1] Segun Ogunsanya became CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Airtel Africa officially on October 1, 2021.

Ogunsanya earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ife in 1987. He is also a Chartered Accountant by the rules of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.[2][3]
