Shane Rimmer (born Shane Lance Deacon; 28 May 1929 – 29 March 2019)[3] was a Canadian actor and screenwriter. He was born in Toronto, Ontario. He was known for providing the voice of Scott Tracy in the British television series Thunderbirds (1965–66).

His movie appearances include Dr. Strangelove (1964), Rollerball (1975), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Gandhi (1982), Out of Africa (1985), Crusoe (1989), Spy Game (2001) and Batman Begins (2005).[4]

Rimmer died on 29 March 2019 in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire at the age of 89.[2]
