I removed the lyrics, because of copyright concerns. Under the life + 70 rule, which I believe we have to assume unless shown an exception, this work would be copyrighted until 2011. The translation could be copyrighted even longer, depending on if/when the translator died. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 06:48, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind about the lyrics, Wikisource:My Golden Bengal explains that the original lyrics are out of copyright. I'm still concerned about the translation, though. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 06:52, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The translator was Syed Ali Ahsan. Exert 06:55, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I believe this means that the translation would still be copyrighted - according to the tag at wikisource, India's copyright rules are death + 60 and his article says he died in 2002. I've left a note wikisource:User talk:Yann, who posted the copyright tags there for the work, in hopes that he could comment on this. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 07:06, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
