I'm not sure if this article is NPOV. Thoughts? Kansan (talk) 21:34, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's sorta neutral, but it could use a clean up and a few sources.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 21:43, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

When I hear the term 'pro life' used it's in reference to abortion. And I don't know how common being pro death penalty and anti-abortion is but presumably quite, given that the pro life stance is associated with conservatism. I feel like this article is putting a bunch of stances together that are often held independently of each other. Shiningroad (talk) 22:04, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article does distinguish actually, but I think it should do more. Shiningroad (talk) 22:08, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Recent changes to this and Pro-choice have put undue emphasis on euthanasia and capital punishment. The primary issue behind these movements is abortion, and our articles should reflect that. A brief mention of the other two issues should suffice, if covered by reliable sources. Update needed[change source]

I recently added to the article here. What I think is still missing are the following points:

  • There's criticism about the terms used 'unborn child' is much fluffier than 'fetus' and 'embryo'
  • We need to focus more on what groups (also political ones) are in what camp. I also can't imagine that everyone opposes abortion, in any case. The trauma a woman who was raped and who cannot end the pregnancy must be much harsher than ending a pregnany (early enough).
  • It's too focused on the U.S. at the moment. Are there other countries as well

These are just thoughts. Eptalon (talk) 09:15, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
