Need for rewrite[change source]

Some of the content is so badly written that it is almost impossible to work out what the writer is trying to say. And I very much doubt that ideas in the Middle Ages and Reformation were accurately summarised, nor are the references paginated. Finally, the writer has assumed that the European world is the whole world. And even in Europe surely one of the most striking things is that the upbringing and education of girls was vastly different from that of boys.

The present page treats the topic historically, but many readers will assume the page is about child development as understood today. I guess anyone who does know something about the topic should feel free to rewrite it. Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:10, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
