This page needs sources/citations[change source]

Things like "(maybe 80 percent of all web users use it)" look like pure speculation and guessing. So in my eyes these and other sentences need some sources/citations. --Djb26 (talk) 20:24, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, has this user been answered  ? And one other thing, where's the information box for websites? Someone help to make one please. Prime Contributer (talk) 05:54, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Google knol[change source]

I have started an article on Google knol. (Google Knol, it appears, no longer exists.)

It needs improvement though. --86.128.250.149 (talk) 12:49, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Doing word= action verb[change source]

In linguistics and generally speaking, when talking about the lexicon in a language, words are usually categorized as 'nouns', 'verbs', 'adjectives' and so on. The term 'doing word' does not exist. So when referring to the new term 'to google', the expression 'action verb' should be used instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.155.151.233 (talkcontribs)

Brackets[change source]

There are a lot of things in this article that are bracketed. I would try to reduce the amount. Orashmatash 15:29, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Separating[change source]

Can we separate the search engine and the company into different articles? See meta:Interwiki synchronization#Google. -happy5214 18:06, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Long list of links to Google products[change source]

Do we need the list of links to Google's products? WP:External links suggests that all that is needed is a link to the company's official website. Not every product listed there should be there. A List of Google products article could be created if a list is necessary; however, even there, the list would be comprised of links to Simple Wikipedia articles, not to the products themselves. I think that the only link needed is the one already under other websites: a link to Google itself, or a link to the sitemap. Maniesansdelire 04:07, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page should be about Google Inc., not Google Search[change source]

The introduction of this page is about Google Search. Please note that this article is for Google Inc., the American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products and not about Google search. Please make the necessary changes if possible. Ramakrishnan.nikhil (talk) 15:29, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article right now seems to be talking about Gogle as a company, although it has some parts about the search engine, as this is its most well-known product. The article we have right now is fine. --Belwine (talk) 10:49, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
