Broken links[change source]

I had an interest in Hilbert’s 18th problem, but the links to the discussion of the packing algorithm for spheres, and the mathematician who proved it, popped up a “Page not yet created” error. So I searched for “Hilbert 18th” and got a page:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilbert%27s_eighteenth_problem

The links in that page worked. They were different from the links in this page, e.g.

Thomas C. Hales in this page was broken, but the cited page above said Thomas Callister Hales. So I copied the text for his link from the above-cited page and pasted it into this page. I did the same thing for computer-assisted proof which the other page successfully linked as computer-aided proof. When I completed the edits and saved them, and refreshed the page, I saw my new links (the new text) but they were still in red. Clicking on them resulted in the same error message. In fact, quite a few links are in red, and produce the same result, but if I copy the text inside the [[ ]] to the Wikipedia search box, I find myself on that page. There is something seriously wrong here, but it is no longer my problem.
