Catholic?![change source]

Does it make sense to call her religion "Catholic" when this was before Protestantism was invented? Was she not Christian (as opposed to some other relevant alternative, such as Jewish or Muslim)? In the case of a Queen of England at that time it is almost quaint to even mention her religion. She's unique in being a queen who lead an army into battle!! Even Jeanne d'Arc was not a queen.
