Methamphetamine or meth[change source]

I'm using "meth" instead of methamphetamine to describe the drug throughout the article. While using methamphetamine would be more professional, I think using "meth" would be a simpler abbreviation. Albacore (talk · changes) 15:04, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We really should use the professional, official name here. "Meth" is slang so it should be avoided. Additionally, "meth" has a connotation of being just the illegal drug, whereas this article is about the drug as a whole. Either way (talk) 18:11, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
