Flowers in December[change source]

Mary told Juan Diego to tell the Bishop (forgot his name) to build a church near the town. The Bishop said something along the lines of “if you can give me a sign that it was the Virgin Mary that told you, I’ll build a church.” Later (maybe the next day), Juan asked Mary for a sign. It was December, and he was surprised when he was told to take some flowers on a nearby hill to the Bishop. He put some roses in his robes and ran back to town. He found the Bishop, and when he rolled open his robes to reveal the flowers, an image of the Virgin Mary was on the front of his garments. The Bishop was convinced that Mary was the one who asked to build a church, and a church was built soon after. Threebookpage (talk) 04:23, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
