Verification of edit summary[change source]

According to the edit history,
"Palembang is part of Malayic not Javanic or even Minangkabauic. This writing does not represent the Palembang language at all. The references used are also written with opinions not from the included references."
Is there anyone who can verify this statement ? MathXplore (talk) 15:33, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do we consider Glottolog to be a reliable source? If so, then User:Farhan Curious is right. Palembang is not listed as part of Javanesic, it is listed as Musi, which is part of Malayic. Lights and freedom (talk) 05:23, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, they have responded to your message at their talk page. I agree with them. Lights and freedom (talk) 05:26, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And possibly unrelated, but Glottolog doesn't have a branch called "Nusantara" or "Western Nusantara" so should those be removed from the taxonomy here? Lights and freedom (talk) 05:25, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Lights and freedom Well, "Nusantara" (lit. inbetween the islands) is just another term for the Indonesian archipelago. Yes, it should be replaced. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 05:28, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Fehufanga All the articles created by this user include these branches in their infobox. Should we just replace all of them with what's on Glottolog? Lights and freedom (talk) 05:40, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Lights and freedom That'd be a better option, yeah. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 05:50, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Fehufanga Thank your for changing it the subfamily group of Palembang. Did you know, the user or editor who made this article was sock-puppet across Wikimedia especially in Indonesian Wikipedia. He/she always made hoax information about Palembang language and Musi language. I'm going to change sub-family group in Musi language and Music languages. Please help me to do so. Thank you and best regard :). P.S *Sorry for my bad English but I'm trying to be better. Farhan Curious (talk) 08:04, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Farhan Curious I agree, thank you. You might have seen that these articles were nominated for deletion. Right now it seems Musi language, Music languages, Javanesic languages, and Palembang language will be kept; while Sundic languages, Palembang languages, Javanic languages, and Sumatranic languages will be deleted. If you disagree you can comment at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Music languages. Lights and freedom (talk) 15:49, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
