Is this how the capitalization is for article titles? I thought the kiwi part was capitalized. Don't kill me Putin /s Ely - Talk 16:11, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so, but I'm not going to fight you on it. There was a big fight on en.wiki years ago about how to capitalize the titles of articles with birds' names. Darkfrog24 (talk) 20:49, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Could you link the discussion from en-wiki for clarity? Thanks - Ely - Talk 07:42, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It was years ago and I fight in which I did not participate. I heard about it while working WT:MoS.
But here are the current policies: en:WP:BIRDS gives article title names in sentence case and en:WP:NCFAUNA says to give article title names in sentence case. So if we're following en.wiki, then it would be "Stewart Island kiwi" with a large S, large I and small k. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:02, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
