Differentiate x86-64 Processors from x86 Might be Better[change source]

Generally, x86 might point to a family of processors which conform the IA-32 architecture, and including Windows, use x86 to point to IA-32 ISA. So the precise explanation of x86 is the processors conformed to IA-32 architecture embracing 16-bit 8086/8088 and 80186 and clones. For processors retaining the backward compatibility with IA-32 should be differentiated. So x86-64 or x64 processors separated from this article might be better. Or most simply explanation: x64 or x86-64 Operating Systems could not run on x86 processors conformed only to IA-32 architecture. Janagewen (talk) 03:56, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
