Need for More Financial Yield and Less Ecology Yield[change source]

This article needs to be enhanced by qualified people to include more discussion about financial yield. All this talk about "earth carrying capacity" and "carbon sink capacity" needs to appear in the definition of some word other than "yield", which should be dedicated to FINANCIAL YIELD, a subject deserving its own space.

I know what the yield of a bond means, but I'm not sure what the yield of a mutual stock fund means. There need to be simple explanations of various forms of financial yield that can be readily understood by ordinary people. In other words, how are the pocketbooks of owners of stocks and bonds affected by yield?

change to disambig[change source]

As is, this is an incredibly bad page, violating all our precepts. I propose changing it to a disambig page. Macdonald-ross (talk) 13:47, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
