Usage

To tag a section, use {{COI|section|date=May 2024}}

When placing this tag, please also leave a note on the talk page so that other users know what the conflict of interest is.

If you have immediately corrected the problem there is no need for this COI clean-up tag.

The editor who adds the tag must address the issues on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies. Once these are addressed the COI tag should be removed.

Notes

This template will categorise tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia articles with possible conflicts of interest, or a dated subcategory thereof.

This template is a self-reference.

This template is not useful for substitution.
