Usage
Template:ISO 639 name pdc is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code pdc, for example: {{Translated page |pdc |name of page at Pennsylvania German Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Pennsylvania German Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Pennsylvania German Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |pdc}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|pdc| some text in Pennsylvania German}} wraps the text with <span lang="pdc"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code pdc to include articles in Category:Articles containing Pennsylvania German-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Pennsylvania German |pdc}}).
- {{R from other language|pdc|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Pennsylvania German-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|pdc}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Pennsylvania German-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
