This template displays the date for the population from Swiss population data.
Usage[change source]
The template uses the following syntax
{{Swiss populations date|ISO code|SFOS number}}
Do not use this template with in the {{asof}} template, because it will cause {{asof}} to assign the article to the non-existent Category:Articles containing potentially dated statements from 31 December 2018 or what ever the current template date is. Instead, always use {{Swiss populations Y}} or {{Swiss populations YM}} with in the {{asof}} template.
Parameters[change source]
- ISO code is the ISO code for Switzerland followed by a "-" and the ISO code for the Canton eg.
CH-BEwould be for any municipality in the Canton of Bern. For a list of the 26 cantons, see List of Swiss Cantons. - SFOS number is the Community Identification Number for each municipality. It is found in the individual municipality's infobox. ex.
0351is the code for Bern. Larger political organizations also have a SFOS number, for exampleB0246is the number for the Bern-Mittelland administrative district.
