The English Patient

The English Patient is a 1996 British-American romantic drama movie based on the novel of the same name. It was written and directed by Anthony Minghella. It stars Joseph Fiennes, Kristin Scott Thomas, Juliette Binoche and Willem Dafoe. This melodrama won many Academy Awards, including Best Picture of the Year.
