Tin(II) bromide, also known as stannous bromide, is a chemical compound. Its chemical formula is SnBr2. It contains tin and bromide ions. The tin is in its +2 oxidation state.

Tin(II) bromide is a yellowish solid. Its color is between the bright orange tin(II) iodide and the colorless tin(II) chloride. It is a reducing agent.

It is made by reacting tin or its oxide with hydrobromic acid.

Tin(II) bromide is used to make organic compounds with tin atoms attached.
