Anthony David Morphett (10 March 1938 – 2 June 2018) was an Australian screenwriter. He created or co-created many Australian television series, including Dynasty, Certain Women. Sky Trackers, Blue Heelers, Water Rats, Above the Law and Rain Shadow.

Morphett died in Katoomba, New South Wales of a heart attack on 2 June 2018 at the age of 80.[1][2]
