The torrent salamander is a species of salamanders. They are also known as Cascade salamanders. They are part of the family Rhyacotritonidae. They live in western United States such as California, Oregon and Washington.
The genus is divided into four species
- Cascade Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton cascadae)
- Columbia Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton kezeri)
- Olympic Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton olympicus)
- Southern Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton variegatus)
