Torture Ship

Torture Ship is a 1939 American movie directed by Victor Halperin. The movie is about a mad scientist who performs experiments on captured criminals aboard his private ship. It stars Lyle Talbot as Lt. Bob Bennett, Irving Pichel as Dr. Herbert Stander, and Julie Bishop as Joan Martel. The movie is based on Jack London's short story, "A Thousand Deaths".
