My name is Dr Kirsty Ross and I am a microbiologist turned public engagement professional at the University of St Andrews and the University of Strathclyde. I am interested in expanding Simple English Wiki by recruiting and training undergraduates and others to draft and publish new articles. So far we have concentrated on articles about soil microbiology. I tend to dot around on Wiki doing bits and pieces here and there. I particularly enjoy uploading photos of listed buildings and monuments on my travels around Scotland.

I do work for the University of Strathclyde and the University of St Andrews, but I am committed to making no edits or changes that would negatively affecting Wikipedia and her sister projects.
