My name is Tadej Persic (or Tadej Peršič to be precise), I am a 34 years old male, born on July 13, 1980 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which is a country located in the heart of EU. I've spent my entire life living in Ljubljana (which is my country's capital city). I am a student at the College for Architecture, which is a part of the Univerza v Ljubljani (in English this means University in Ljubljana). In general I am quite an unconventional guy (some may say I'm a bit eccentric); on one hand I'm very liberal, free-spirited and open-minded person, but at the same time I consider myself a critical thinker, skeptic and rationalist.

Wikimedia[change | change source]

In this paragraph I link to my Wiki user pages. From all the Wikimedia projects I am most active on English Wikipedia (I've created my account here first and that was on March 11, 2005) where I contribute the most; mostly I do minor spelling & grammatical corrections, correct & improve the code and references, I revert articles affected by vandalism etc., and I've created 6 or 7 articles from scratch. And so as of January 8, 2015, the number of my edits is 1,429; you can see all my edits on the Contributions page). A bit later I've also created an account on Slovene Wikipedia‎, and as of January 8, 2015, the number of my edits is 583, while here is a link: Uporabnik:Wayfarer to my user page. Also in about the same period of time I've registered on W:Wikinews and wrote "Slovenian alpinist in rescue on Nanga Parbat" and "Slovenian alpinist rescued from Himalayan peak" articles in August 2005. On Wikinews I am the least active and so far I've made only 71 contributions.

Interests[change | change source]

In my spare time I like to listen to various genres of music, watch movies and TV series, while South Park, Dilbert, Futurama, Simpsons, Star Trek, and Babylon 5 are my favorites. I also like to browse the World Wide Web (mostly news and tech websites, post on various Internet forums) etc. Also, I love to go to the nature from time to time (alone), meet with my friends and so on.

IT Interests[change | change source]

With regard to computers, I am interested in just about everything related to basic programming and scripting, like batch programming, Vbscript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, ABC, etc.), while I also enjoy customizing and tweaking my operating systems and similar. I mainly use Windows XP, but occasionally I also use Linux (the Slackware distribution).

As first I will mention my personal page^[1] on about.me portal which links to various others profile/user pages of mine, then as second there's my professional profile^[2] at LinkedIn, and my profile page^[3] on Scribd with various seminar papers from my 2 year study of Informatics. There's also my personal page and blog on Posterous which will hopefully get more content in the near future.

Then there are of course my many accounts' pages on various social networking internet portals such as for example my profile page^[4] on Twitter which is also some sort of a blog (this is called micro-blogging), then there's my profile page^[5] on Facebook community, my personal page^[6] on MySpace portal, and my user page^[7] on Fubar portal.

My Blogs[change | change source]

Recently my main blog in English is my blog^[8] on Google's Blogger platform since the previous one^[9] (which contained quite a few posts already) was on Posterous, which was acquired by Twitter early in 2013 and closed. Though I also have a blog^[10] in Slovene language, which is a new blog on WordPress that contains imported content from my blog^[11] on Sopca (all the entries and comments were imported right from the beginning, that is from October 2006 onward), and which was more or less abandoned for a long time (especially after 2009), though on my birthday in 2012 I created a new entry after almost 2 years, and from then on I've posted quite a few new entries (the last one on December 2013), so it's not quite dead already.
