Guangdong Independence Movement[change source]

Hello, Alexissa, and welcome to our Wikipedia. You recently created Guangdong Independence Movement, which you porbably copied form the English language wikipedia. When you have the time, could you please do the following:

  • Wikify it (see our Manual of Style, if you are not sure what to do)
  • Replace the citations (number inside brackets) with proper ref tags.
  • The article currently has references in what looks like Chinese. While they are certainly valid, they are not very helpful to most readers. Do you know of English language references? - I know that there are English-language newpapers in China, did they report anything?

Thanks, and happy editing here.--Eptalon (talk) 09:19, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The original article is in Chinese language and is still being completed. Please help me correct it when finished. What exactly meaning of Wikify? pls explain me. Unfortunately, all references are Chinese. Please wait until I translate the article completely, then try to find English sources. thank you so much.Alexisssa (talk) 10:50, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I already answered on my talk page: Look at the article Khalistan movement, and how it is formatted. When you are finished translating, the formatting of your article should be similar. Finish translating first, and then we look at the other issues; the all-Chinese referencees are not an issue at the moment either). --Eptalon (talk) 11:08, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I will suggest this to be moved to your userspace for the time being as it is overly complex, @Eptalon: I think this will be best if placed on enwp? --Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 11:39, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Let's continue on this Wiki for now; also as long as you two are the only two editing the page (because you are among the select few who speak Chinese), there's little need to move this to userspace. Simply state when you are done translating, and we can look at formatting, and making language easier. --Eptalon (talk) 15:15, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[change source]

Hello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:

There's a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need any help. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 11:35, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
