Hello bandideux,

A belated welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! I see that you have an alternative account, and that another user already sent you a standard welcome template, so I won't repeat that here. I'm glad to see interest in articles related to a particular subject; that type of dedication can really help the encyclopedia get better.

I'm afraid I don't know much about Linux except that it is an operating system that is freely distributed, so I look forward to seeing the articles that get created or improved.

Regarding your alternative account, I hope you are familiar with our policies regarding those. If not, click the link and you can read the actual policy. It would be preferred if each alternate account were to explicitly declare the other as well (currently, you only have that declaration going in one direction). Alternatively, some people (myself included) declare the alternative account on their main page and set redirects up on the alternate's user page and talk page which take anyone who lands there to the main account. (In case this isn't clear, anyone who tries to go to User:Etamni-m will instead be redirected to User:Etamni, where the alternative account and the reasons for its existence are both declared.)
