Good luck and happy changing! – Cyber.Eyes2005Talk 14:07, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I have started editing in this Wikipedia because there are numerous articles that need work done on them. I want to try and improve the project as much as I can to the best of my ability. TheWikiCyclone (talk) 02:55, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I have found that you used this criterion for mainspace articles. QD U1 is only for your userspace, so QD requests like these cannot be accepted. I have switched your QD U1 requests to QD G2. Please take a look at WP:QD to learn more about our deletion policy. Thank you for your attention. MathXplore (talk) 02:34, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, apologies. I quickly put in the deletion template without noticing that it was for user pages, as I was in a hurry. I'll make sure not to repeat such mistakes next time. TheWikiCyclone (talk) 21:37, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome messages[change source]

Hello. So you know we do not put welcome messages on IP addresses only on named users. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 22:35, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that. I've seen a couple welcome messages on IP addresses and thought that was the norm. TheWikiCyclone (talk) 20:24, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I have seen it too. IP address are not considered user pages and they can change at anytime. They are also usually a way a blocked or banned user will access wikipedia without being spotted. Before I usually post them, I wait a couple of days from when an account was created and check their talk page for warnings and check contributions to see if they are good, substantial edits. Some IPs just come on and delete blank lines in a table or infobox. Typically about 10 days or so I give them. This also always me to verify if they are sincere about being here or watch their behavior and see if it matches a known LTA or blocked/banned/glocked account. For those articles you (like the one you just commented on) please leave it alone for the time being. This is an ongoing issue with this editor and I have made a notice at WP:AN as they have received enough warnings about creating these articles. All of their articles have that big wall of shame. I even moved some to their user space. *shrug* Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 06:10, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thanks for the heads-up. TheWikiCyclone (talk) 06:11, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
