A wedge is a piece having the shape of a triangle. It is used often to split pieces of wood into smaller pieces. It is also a part of another simple machine the inclined plane.

- Wedge Antilles is a character in many Star Wars films.
- In the 1976 Olympic games, a skater named Dorothy Hamill participated. People copied her hairstyle. This became wedge hairstyle.
